My favorite character was Victor or Tino, just because they were the most interesting throughout the story. Paul was boring, Joey was boring, and so was everyone else. My least favorite character was Erik. Hes MEAN!!!! I HATE that kid! If I was his parents I would've whooped his butt for all the junk he got away with, especially messing up Paul's eyes. Mean people are annoyiing.
My favorite character in the book was Paul. This is because he was the most important factor in the entire book. I feel this way because he made the story so realistic when you read all the things hes been through. For example, he moves to tangerine Florida. Then he has problems at school after his mom fills in the IEP form causing him to be ineligable to play in the lake windsor soccer team. The most shocking parts of the book was when Erik and Vincent spraypainted Pauls eyes. Another shocking event of the book was when Erik and Arthur stole from the blue tents. This book was probably one of the most suspenceful and most interesting books ive read, thanks to Paul.
My favorite character would have to be Erik and Arthur. the reason is I like the villians in stories. So I like the bad guys in this book.In my literture circle my group thinks im crazy cause I like the bad guys more then the good guys. What makes then so bad and exciting is back handing tino, and Arthur hitting luis with a black jack.My least favorite character is joey cause he is quite and not so exciting.
my least fav character was paul's mom because she seemed annoying and didn't try to listen to paul in my opinion.my fav character would probably be erik but only because he made the story interesting.
My favorite character in the book would have to be Paul because he was the most interesting. When i say interesting i mean that he delt with the problems he was having in a very mature way. I also think that Paul new what he had to do and did exactly what he said he would do. For example, when Tino said for Paul to say nothing but " Yes ma'am" and " no ma'am ", Paul did exactly what they said to do.
my favorite character was paul fisher because of the way that he can't see but he still can play soccer. And in my eyes that is funky fresh. Plus he also is my favorite because his brother was stupid enough to have his freind spray paint his eyes that is why he can not see.
i think victor and tino kept the book interesting. although this book never really di interest me at all, they were why i kept reading. I do agree with " Jessica A :)" when she says erik is mean! and yes; mean people are very annoying.

Paul also seemed really nice from his characteristics and i probably would be his friend if he were a real person. My least favorite character would have to be Mrs. Fisher. This is because she hides the fact that Erik and his friend were the ones who messed up Paul's eyes by sraying paint into his eyes. Also, she did not do much to punsih Erik basically she let hime out to do anythign he wanted and that lead him to doing more trouble. But, in a way i do admire Mrs. Fisher because while no one else was concerned with the saftey of the football players when they were practicing Mom organized a whole meeting about moving the practices to the morning so that no one else could get killed by te lightning like Mike Costello.
Ummm I'd say my favorite character would be Victor. Mainly because hes REALLY GOOD at soccer. Though he does come on strong and intimidating. Plus he and Tino beat up Erik! Im sorry but my favorite character was Eric he was just mean with no remorse he had his own body gaurd, killed a guy and he just spraypainted his brothers face and doesnt care at all that is sinister I guess its that my favorite characters are bad guys its the way the dont care about anyone a good story needs a character like that,that what I think

I toootally agree with jessica A. Victor and Tino got it going on! No, but seriously, they speak their mind and thats pretty cool and that was AWESOME when they beat up Erik and Arthur! I was so happy because I HATE Erik, he is a jerk. I mean, who kills a guy for saying,"Go on, hit me?"
My favorite character would have to be Luis. I like him the most because he seems like a good older brother the way he sticks up for Tino when he got hit by Erik. He also seems like a really nice person that wouldn't hurt anyone unless the were really asking for it.He also seems like an awesome hard working person who enjoys life and is willing to help people that need help. He doesn't seem like the kind of person who would do anything wrong. There are so many reasons why Luis is my favorite character but those are just a few of those reasons.
My favorite character is are all the Cruz's. I liked how Edward showed that the family are responsible for everything they do or take care of their grove. But my least were probably the kids at the War Eagles' first game, especially the coach and referee. They played a really unfair game. That was a bad start of the soccer season.
My favorite character would have to be Luis. He is my favorite character because he seems like a really nice hard working vharacter that wouldn't harm anyone unless they really deserved it. He also seems like someone who would help anyone who needed help and that he would never do anything bad that would get him in trouble. He also seems like a nice brother because when Tino got hit by Erik he stuck up for him and tried to deal with Erik. He seems like a well liked person. He is definitly my favorite character.
I agree with Jessica A! Erik is REALLY MEAN!!!!!! i dont like him AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he deserves to sit in his room forever and ever!!! and ever!!! I just couldnt even amagine living in a house with him!
